For Thanksgiving we were in Borrego Springs to visit Chad's Aunt and Uncle. Borrego Springs is a beautiful little desert community over the mountains from Escondido, CA. Their home is very nice with nothing but untouched desert and mountains for a view.
Family set up camp for the weekend in the backyard:
The Hummingbirds swarm the feeders and sit to eat. I've never seen so many at one time. They would sit four or five to a feeder. I only got a picture with one there....
The food was fabulous (no pictures of the spread). Lots of turkey, wine and family -- it doesn't get much better than that. Plus we got waffles the next morning! We had a great time. Thank you Uncle Loyd and Aunt Ann! We will be back to visit soon :)
